Luxury print design
For luxury brands whose printed pieces are held, kept and judged by touch: brochures, publications and stationery on fine papers and finishes.
A printed piece is the one part of your brand a client takes home. BCLR designs brochures, publications, lookbooks and stationery for luxury businesses, with paper and finish chosen from the start and production managed through to delivery, so what arrives is worth keeping.
What is luxury print design?
Luxury print design is the design and production of printed material that carries a brand’s standard into the hand: brochures, publications, stationery and invitations whose paper, weight and finish say as much as their words. It is judged by touch as well as by sight.
For you, print is where attention slows down. A brochure left on a desk after a meeting, a publication that stays on a client’s shelf for a season, a card that is kept rather than thrown away: each continues the conversation long after you have left the room, with a weight no email can carry.
BCLR is a luxury branding studio serving London and the UK. Every BCLR project is led by our founders and Creative Directors, Beth Clawson and Leon Reeve, who are present at every private consultation. A brochure or stationery suite typically takes three to six weeks from brief to delivery, and a long-form publication longer. For businesses that print throughout the year, the Print Concierge manages it as an ongoing service.
Luxury Print Design questions
-
Every print project we take on is bespoke, so there is no price list. Design investment reflects the number of pieces and pages, and printing is quoted separately once paper, finishes and quantities are known. We begin with a private consultation and set everything out in writing before work begins.
-
Yes. BCLR manages print production as well as design: we specify paper and finishes, source quotes from specialist printers, check every proof and liaise until the finished piece is delivered. You receive the work rather than the logistics, with one point of contact from the first layout to delivery.
-
BCLR specifies foiling, embossing, debossing, letterpress, painted edges and bespoke binding, each chosen for the piece rather than added for effect, and tested on the actual paper before anything goes to press. We advise on what each finish adds, and where restraint serves the piece better.
-
It depends on the piece. Uncoated and cotton stocks suit stationery and invitations, where touch matters most, while smooth uncoated or silk stocks suit image-led brochures. We test colour and finish on the actual paper before anything goes to press.
-
Yes. BCLR designs luxury stationery suites: business cards, letterheads, compliment slips, correspondence cards and envelopes, designed as a family with paper, weight and finish chosen together. Each suite is produced with specialist printers and can be reordered through the Print Concierge, so every reprint matches the first.
-
A brochure or stationery suite typically takes three to six weeks from brief to delivery. Long-form publications and specialist finishes take longer, and the timeline is agreed before work begins. Dates that matter, such as a launch or an event, are planned in from the start.
-
Yes. Existing artwork can be prepared and produced through the Print Concierge, which handles file preparation, colour checks, proofing and supplier liaison. Files that are not ready for print are corrected before they reach the printer, so what arrives matches the standard of your brand.

With a private consultation: an unhurried conversation about your business and what your printed pieces need to do, and a chance for us both to decide whether BCLR is the right fit. If it is, we follow with a written proposal setting out scope, investment and timeline. Request a private consultation.
